A MUN – Model United Nations – is a simulation of the United Nations’ and its various organs, councils and committees. In these simulations various matters on the international agenda are discussed, with delegates representing UN member states. High argumentative, critical and oratory expertise are some of the skills that MUN participants must master.
The LisboMUN Association- Lisbon Model United Nations – is an association without lucrative purpose that focuses on the promotion of debate on the international agenda and MUN culture in Portugal, the first in Portugal with this goal. Founded in 2016 by a foreign student in Portugal, the association also has as its objectives the education of its memebers on questions of civic nature, effective communitcation, globalisation and multilateral diplomacy.
